Crashes respond to each stroke with a low, generous wash that sound the exact right kind of out of the way. Rides are dark, warm, mellow and low-pitched with generous cushion of sound. A wash of smoky undertones support the stick definition even during up tempo passages. Hats are the perfect companion to the rides which are crisp and tight with sticks and extremely articulate with brushes. When played half-opened the hats breathe a thick blanket of sound and when closed the chick is warm and silvery.
